Weebly Blog Settings

We’ve already done a post on using Weebly Blog Comments but haven’t touched on using the Weebly Blog Settings yet!

In your Weebly, Blog there are some other settings that you can adjust to change the way your blog works:

You can get to your Weebly Blog settings by going to Settings in your Weebly Dashboard, or clicking the “Blog Settings” button at the bottom of your blog page:

In the General Weebly Blog settings, you can do the following:

  • Posts Per Page – By Default this is set to 10, you can increase/decrease this amount to tell your Weebly Blog how many Weebly Blog posts are displayed on each page.
  • Post Share Button – This setting will either automatically turn on/off the share buttons to facebook and twitter

  • Post header/footer code – This is where you can add some custom HTML code into the blog posts header/footer. For example if you wanted to automatically embed some additional third party widgets. Weebly don’t normally recommend you use this unless you know what you’re doing. It’s probably something that would normally be used by Web Developers using Weebly.

Date & Time Settings

A little further in the Weebly blog settings page you will see some settings for “Date & Time” This is where you can set the date and time format of your publishing date as well as the timezone used when displaying your publishing date. This is important if you’re planning to use the Scheduled Post feature in Weebly.
